thanks!

Many, many thanks to all who have donated to Al Stephenson’s medical expenses for his son, Will. He is deeply grateful. Treatment continues.  You can still make a donation, if you’d like, just let Heidi know and she will provide contact information.

Speaking of Heidi, she says thanks for your continued thoughts  and get-well wishes as she continues to recover from her car accident a few weeks ago.  She may be facing neck surgery and still needs help at the computer and desk, so her responses to you may take a bit longer than usual.  Thanks for your patience.  She says she hopes to be at the Hill party and celebrate the start of WHNPA’s 90th Anniversary year!

In Memoriam: Cal Marlin

Cal Marlin passed away recently at the age of 80. Some remembrances from his friends are posted on the WHNPA’s web site in the ” in memoriam ” section.  “Cal was an old school news cameraman, a film guy, a no-nonsense, pugnacious, irascible, sometime belligerent, sometime charmer who could always bully or sweet talk his way into position to get the shot.” (READ MORE)
