Reminder, Tuesday night (that’s tomorrow) is the General Membership meeting at WTTG-TV!

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Tuesday, Nov. 22, 2011 - 7:00 – 9:00 p.m., WTTG-TV

Bring your wallet & checkbooks!  Before and after the presentation you’ll be able to purchase WHNPA branded merchandise… get a jump on Black Friday holiday shopping with WHNPA!

The evening will feature:

Larry Levin will present the film he completed on Roy E. Strker and the photographers who documented the Depression Era.

 

AND

Lucian Perkins will talk about the program documenting the economic conditions today in the Facing Change Project.


WHNPA members & guests should park on the street, approach the guard shack at the parking lot entrance on Harrison St. The guard will have a list of members and you will be admitted.

HOLIDAY PARTY

The WHNPA Holiday Party on Capitol Hill is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011. WHNPA members should have received an official invitation in the mail with specific RSVP requirements and deadlines.   Don’t delay in responding, please.

And… if you haven’t seen your 2011 ‘Eyes of History’ exhibition, WHNPA members are admitted free of charge to the ongoing FOTO WEEK DC exhibition. Check out http://www.fotoweekdc.org/ information on hours. Remember to bring your WHNPA ID badge to be admitted at no charge.
