AWARDS FOR OUR MEMBERS

Congratulations to WHNPA members, Pege Gilgannon, Doug Wilkes, and
Samara Ewing.  The will be among the "Silver Circle Honorees" at the
National Chesapeake Bay Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts
and Sciences ceremony on November 3, 2007.  The Silver Circle honors those
who have made significant contributions to the industry over 25 years or
more in our area! 

Please tell them how proud of them you are when you have a chance!  They are
still inspiring many of us on a daily basis.

GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

Reminder, Tuesday, October 23,, 2007 is the next General Membership meeting
at Dennis Bracks¹ Studio.  The agenda will feature Jeff Kent, Director of
the Senate Press Photographers Gallery, and a presentation from the chairs
of the two new contest committee¹s: The Student Contest and the New Media
contest.


RENEWAL NOTICES

Your renewal notices will be mailed at the end
of next month.   Please remember that your eligibility for the contests is
tied to your standing within the association.
