PROGRAM: Apple: Capture, Edit and Deliver from a single frame to multiple frames per second
The capability of shooting HD high quality video on a DSLR have thrown the film, video and still photography industries into a frenzy. The advantages of using superior optics in conjunction with the familiar DSLR form factor has created a new “hybrid” photographer. Still photographers are often now expected to capture both still photos and video at events. Add to this the variety of acquisition options including iPhone’s, iPods and other small footprint systems. Explore how to Capture, Edit and Deliver your images incorporating Apple’s Aperture software with the newest version of Final Cut Studio regardless of how your image is acquired.
BIO
Orlando Luna is a Sr. Systems Engineer with Apple’s Pro Video Group. Prior to to coming on with Apple, Orlando Luna owned and operated Luna Studio for 15 years. He produced photo and film work for Nike, NYTimes, Newsweek and MTV among others. Orlando has also served an Apple Mentor Trainer with Apple’s Certification and Training program certifying trainers on Apple’s Professional applications. Orlando authoring credits include various interactive CD’s and DVD’s on Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro and Aperture. Orlando co-authored the Apple Pro Training Series: Aperture 1.0, 1.5 and 2.0 publications on Peachpit Press. Most recently Orlando has been at the center of the convergence of still photography and video production delivering several presentations on the subject.
