AMERICANA IN FOCUS: JOBS THAT LAST
SATURDAY, OCT. 17 AT 3 P.M. ET
On Saturday, Oct. 17 at 3 p.m. ET, CNN will air an hour-long special program titled Americana In Focus: Jobs That Last, anchored by CNN correspondent Tom Foreman. The latest installation of the “In Focus” series, Americana In Focus is comprised entirely of pieces shot and crafted by CNN photojournalists around the country.
From a drive-in movie theater to a barber shop to a bowling alley, the special spotlights classic American jobs which have stood the test of time. Through economic depressions and recessions, international tensions and wars, and changing American lifestyles, these are Jobs That Last and provide the basis for the network’s unique focus on Americana.
