Thursday, December 10th, 2009, from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m., WHNPA Holiday Party on the Hill!  You should have received your invitation to the party in the mail.  You MUST RSVP by Monday, December 7th, 2009 by 5:00 p.m., in order to attend.  Looking forward to seeing you there. Business attire.

2010 WHNPA renewal notices will be mailed shortly.  Thanks for your prompt attention to this detail.  Your eligibility for the ‘Eyes of History’ is tied to your standing as a member.  Please let Heidi know ASAP, if you  have moved or changed positions.

2010 contests: The contest committees are working hard for hold another successful contest.    All contest rules and deadlines will be posted on the WHNPA web site  as soon as possible, but I’m told there will be some changes, so please read the rules carefully and plan accordingly.

Judging will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13 and 14, 2010 at National Geographic.   We are working on a general membership meeting for Friday, February 12th.  Details will be posted as they are firmed up.

Finally, many, many thanks to WHNPA members, Bill McKenna, Dorry Gundy and Joni Mazer Field all of the BBC, and Bill Auth, who helped John and Heidi monitor the WHNPA ‘Eyes of History’ exhibit featuring FOTOWEEK DC.   Your work was a HUGE hit in Georgetown.  The space was amazing and SO many professionals and amateurs were able to admire your work.  Hopefully, we’ll be asked back next year and more members will be able to spend some time meeting new people and enjoying the other galleries.
