We’re pleased to announce the winners of the FotoWeekDC “Shoot the Festival” Instagram Contest!
Grand prize winner Seth Rubin will have the opportunity to participate in a 4-day National Geographic Photography Workshop in New York or Washington DC!
Judges for the contest included Stacy Gold, Editor, National Geographic Image Collection and Dan Westergren, Senior Photo Editor, National Geographic Traveler.
Dan leads many of the National Geographic Photography Workshops in DC, so Seth may soon be shooting alongside him on the streets of DC and enjoying his in-depth, hands-on photography instruction back at National Geographic’s headquarters, where all of the classroom sessions are held.
Or, if Seth prefers, he may find himself in New York City for a long weekend seeing the city through the eyes of National Geographic photographers Joe McNally or Ira Block in Battery Park City with its views of the iconic Statue of Liberty, and from the top of Rockefeller Center at sunset.
