The WHNPA will feature two prominent experts speaking on all aspects of copyright, ownership, and legal rights of photographers, among other topics.
Ann M. Garfinkle, Esq., Whiteford, Taylor & Preston, LLP, is a seasoned legal practitioner who represents artists, estates of artists, galleries, and collectors in all aspects of “the art business,” from prominent American and European painters and sculptors. Ann has been named annually as a “Preeminent Lawyer” by Martindale Hubbell, the major company that rates lawyers. She is an avid photographer.
Charles Barry Goldstein, ISA CAPP holds two fine art peer certifications in fine art paintings, prints, photography and sculpture with the International Society of Appraisers (ISA). He is the 2007 recipient of ISA’s Lamp of Knowledge Award. His initial certification was received in 1991 followed by ISA’s peer recertification requirements of continuing education and testing every five years. His ISA certifications are current through 2015 and he is USPAP compliant. He is an avid photographer. Charles will address the topics concerning copyright, privacy, appraisals and authenticity.
