Nonprofit Uganda: a lecture & slideshow on the importance of nonprofits and NGOs in Uganda
Gina M. S. Lambright is an Assistant Professor of Political Science and International Affairs at George Washington University. Her research interests include political reform, decentralization, political institutions, and the politics of development in Africa.
Jamie Rose is an international documentary photographer based in Washington, D.C. She specializes in humanitarian and health care issues. She has spent the last two years documenting nonprofits in Uganda and worldwide. She recently won the White House News Photographers Association Project Grant for her work in Northern Uganda.
Please join us on Wed. July 2nd at 7 p.m. at the Sewall Belmont House & Museum for this free lecture. Wine & cheese starts at 6:30 p.m. Open to the public. Q&A will follow the presentation. The museum is located on the corner of Constitution Ave & 2nd Street NE.
