Melina Mara fulfills a WHNPA speaking engagement at the Microsoft Pro Photo Summit in Redmond, Washington on July 9th.  Melina’s talk on how photographers can sharpen their skills and learn from competing with other photographers while covering this year’s political campaign was well received by some of the top photographers in our business. John Harrington did an excellent presentation at the Pro Photo Summit on the latest movement in the Orphan Works legislation.  Those hearing the presentation agreed that if times ever get tough for John in the photo business, which they won’t, he could have a first rate career in teaching government affairs at anycollege.
