Some selections from my WHNPA funded project, Consumed, will be appearing at the Arlington Arts Center, in a show called Unlimited Edition, which examines works that explore mass production, marketing and commodification. The show will open Dec. 12 from 6-9 pm in association with the Pink Line Project, at 3550 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA. Metro (orange line): Virginia Square.

The following is from Stills Chair Pete Souza:
The 2009 Eyes of History contest will be judged on Saturday and Sunday, February 21 and 22 at National Geographic. Presentations by the judges will be on Friday night, February 20.
The deadline for the contest will be in early February. Categories will include the usual plus Campaign 2008 and Inauguration 2009. Photographs eligible are those taken between Jan. 1, 2008 through Jan. 20, 2009. Note the extended dates. Final rules and guidelines will be posted sometime in December.
Television and New Media Rules will be posted as soon as they are available. Please refer to your membership renewal letter for committee contact information. Thanks.

REMINDER….if you have moved, PLEASE let Heidi know. There has been an increase in the amount of returned mail. This could put your eligibility status in question for the contests. The committees will NOT accept dues payments with the contest entries.
