The 88th Annual Awards Dinner in honor of the President of the United States and the winners of the Annual Still, Video, and New Media Eyes of History contest.
DATE: SATURDAY, MAY 30, 2009
LOCATION: RITZ-CARLTON HOTEL, 1150 22ND STREET, N.W. WASHINGTON, DC
BLACK TIE
Reception: 6:30 p.m.
Dinner: 8:00 p.m.
Dancing, dessert and drinks: 10:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
TICKET INFORMATION (invitations will be mailed on April 6)
WHNPA MEMBER TICKET $150
GUEST TICKET (limit, one “guest” ticket per member) $150
NON-MEMBER TICKET $235
CORPORATE TABLE (seats 12) $2820
Reserve your tickets by May 15, 2009.
There will be no online ticket sales this year due to the increased demand.
Seating is very limited and available as determined by the postmark date on the RSVP card, complete with payment.
Tickets will be distributed in advance. Please provide a FedEx number for secure delivery. We will distribute tickets on Friday and Saturday morning of the gala.
Please make plans to pick up your tickets prior to the gala and distribute them to your guests… Location and pick up time to be announced.
* There will be no evening will call this year.
Remember, tickets are sold on a first-come basis, so the earlier you place your order, the better.

To the right hand side of the screen, you will see “Check Room Rates and Availability”.
Here, the guest will need to enter dates that are within your block of dates (5/28/09 – 5/31/09) in order to have the rate register in the system.
Then, click on “Optional Information” and enter Group Code WHNWHNA and then press “Submit”.
This will bring up the group rate and each guest can book their room from that point. The deadline for booking rooms and receiving the WHNPA rate is Thursday, May 7.
